The visionary may have gone, but we must never forget to carry forward his fascinating legacy. His grand vision for India. He believed that we could be the best nation in the world because the best people were here. We had just to rise to the occasion!
The gentle, kind and unassuming Dr APJ Abdul Kalam left us on July 27, and he went away doing just what he loved most: talking to young people.
While many eulogies will be said for a long time to come, we in the plastics industry have more reason to exalt and praise this outstanding example of humanity.
He was the Chief Guest at the 9th Die & Mould India International Exhibition on April 17, 2014, where he unveiled his Vision 2020 for the Indian Tooling Industry.

I met him at his office in Delhi and was wonderstruck with the absolute charm and childlike innocence of one of the world’s most brilliant minds.
